This product had a really cool look to it in person, but had no branding to speak of. A pier block is just a base for outdoor decking and this one had a few extra features.
I started by picking out a cool gray color scheme and adding a pop of orange color. Then I worked from a line drawing of the top down of the product, but decided to simplify it for the final glyph.
Using the gray and orange color palette, I created a few cut sheets one black and white and the other full four color for use by the client. Also shown is a rejected cut sheet idea I rather liked.
