Berger Logo

I love logos. Talking about, looking at, messing with. Sometimes I see one and am like “that just needs XYZ to put it over the top.” This is one of those cases. This is great, with a memorable icon and clear legible font.

There is nothing wrong with this at all. But my brain says - HEY - look at her stuff. It’s like art turned up to 11! So her logo should be as well.

I’d had a few thoughts - just an eye or a spiral as those are common to a lot of her work - but at the same time I really loved that tongue, which I know the artist made herself.

I think what bothered me most was that font. So plain and simple for such a quirky logo. It had to get in that logo! Literally. Make it the thick juicy patty of that Berger burger! I tightened up the kerning on a thick but rounded font and it made me smile.

When that happens, I know it’s good.
